In the wild in Michigan, which is the equivalent of finding a four-lead clover in a field of daisys. Sure, it's possible, just not likely. It's a BMW, but I'm not up-to-date with all the models and their funky names, I just recognized it as a older model with the amazing grill that I like. Looks great in red though!

It’s a 1602 or 2002 with a bit of tarting up.

Based on the rear corner it looks like a 74’ or older 2002. The rear tail light appears to be the square tail lights that started in that year.

2002 right?

I think it is a 2002. I just looked it up, and that's the grill that was on it.

I just looked it up, it seems to be a 2002. The grills look identical.

The grill looks like a 2002, :). Beautiful grill though.

Would a three leaf suffice?

Funny story.
Back in 2007, an old project manager I used to work for was a car guy, and made sure everyone knew it. He always had a story that was better than the story you just told.
One day he was talking about this old, classic BMW a friend of his used to have. It was a “race car” with “race seats, race tires, race engine, etc....” Curious if I could guess it, I asked him if it was a 2002.
“No dude,” he scolded, “I said it was old.”
Took him off my list of people to talk about cars with.

So that's why my eyes were drawn to it!

I would of corrected him, just to see his reaction...

I was still new on the team. It was too soon.
He actually competed in NASA events with a 944, and would send us all photos of him with his cars whenever he let us know he was going to be out of the office for an event.
Later, as the rest of the team got to know me, I would usually reply-all with an edited photo.
Everyone loved them, but he wasn’t a fan. They used to print them and hang them in the break room. They somehow always went missing. I think he was taking them down.

See, he just doesn’t understand. Riding a big wheel is an honor, unlike any other. Especially downhill. :)

This is the one they kept hanging up.
